Easy and sunny cross-country skiing trail
The St. Agatha-Reitern-Stambach cross country skiing trail is also known as the "Trüfö" (means talking) trail in Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt, and raises the heart beat of any amateur cross country skier.
This sunny, easy cross country skiing trail passes through three neighbourhoods in Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt.
The trail is mostly flat, without any particularly steep or difficult sections. There are also stunning views of the mountains of the Inner Salzkammergut. The trail is prepared for classic and skating style.
Recommendation: The St. Agatha's Catholic Church is well worth a visit.

Car parking and access to the trail is available in the Edt neighbourhood (access opposite car dealership Aigner). During the winter months, snow is cleared to create parking spaces for cross country skiers.

Exit Liezen via federal road B320, in Trautenfels drive onto Salzkammergut street B145 towards Bad Goisern
from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt federal road through Gosau, at the Gosaumühle junction turn towards Bad Goisern
