Unique, rustic trail through unspoilt flora and fauna

A nature trail leads along the Schlögener Schlinge between Au and Grafenau through the unspoilt nature of the Donauleitn. Information boards provide natural history information on the geology, fauna and flora of this unique section of the Danube. Good footwear is required.
A longitudinal ferry runs parallel to the nature trail on the Danube, which you can use to return to the starting point.

The nature trail is purely a hiking trail with rope safety. Cycling is absolutely forbidden here. ATTENTION: There is also no pushing facility for cyclists!
