Small tour at the Konrads-trail

Very nice tour with wonderful view at lake Mondsee

From the tourist office we walk through Badgasse to the basilica, past this to Hilfbergstraße. Path no. 21 (Konradweg) leads us past the Lechnerhof - first along below the motorway, then above it to the Bischofer with a beautiful view of the lake. The new farmhouse was built here when the motorway was being built. The old farmhouse (a smoke house) had to give way to the construction of the motorway. Thanks to the prudence of Dr. Kunze, it was removed and erected as the first building of the Mondsee open-air museum, where it can be viewed today. The Konradweg leads after the farmhouse over the meadow up into the forest. At the first forest path crossing we leave path no. 21. The connecting path 22a leads uphill to the left, first through the forest, then over the meadow to the Schafbergblick (formerly an inn). Let's enjoy the view from there! Behind the house, path no. 1 leads downhill through the forest. At the first farmhouse we meet the road (still path no. 1), which leads us with a beautiful view to the west over the Hilfberg back to the center of Mondsee.
