Damberg-Schwarzberg

Directions:
Start is opposite the Landhotel Eckhard, to the right of the gas station. Follow the signage "Mountainbikestrecke Damberg" and ride on a flat gravel road past houses to the Mayr farmstead. Continue left on the asphalt road and shortly afterwards up the gravel road into the forest, always heading towards "Damberg". After about 3 km you reach an intersection, here turn sharply right, continue uphill and then ride for a long time with gentle ups and downs across the forested northern slopes of the Damberg. You pass above the Laurenz chapel and about 570m later turn right towards Schwarzberg. It goes straight over a hill and at the junction with a forest road turn left, climbing steeply up to 16% to Hertlerwiese. Here turn right uphill and after 110m you can decide in which direction to circle Schwarzberg. After half circling Schwarzberg, use the cart path over a meadow saddle as a connection between the forest roads. Back at the already known Hertlerwiese, turn left on the access route back, but after 560 m go straight ahead towards "Garsten" and down through the steep Höllgraben (ignore all side turnoffs). Always downhill to Dambach, where after the playground and soccer field you turn right and return to the starting point via Auerstraße.Safety guidelines:
