Paths covering:
Short, but very exposed via ferrata, which is less interesting as a stand-alone undertaking due to its brevity. It is recommended to combine it with the original "Leadership via ferrata" on the Predigstuhl, which can be reached via a marked hiking trail afterwards.

- Hop off description: From the car park at the Rathlucken Hütte, the route is easy and flat along the Bad Goisern high and legend trail to the wall. This is the starting point of the carved-out hiking trail to the western part of the Ewige Wand, via which you can easily reach the wooded plateau. The entrance to the "Ewige Wand via ferrata" is located in front of the 2nd tunnel of the excavated hiking trail.
- Hop on description: At the exit, the marked hiking trail leads past in the direction of Predigstuhl, which you descend briefly to the junction of the hiking trail through the Ewige Wand. If you would like to extend the tour, we recommend combining it with the "Leadership via ferrata". To do this, continue up the marked hiking trail until just before the summit of the Predigstuhl (1-1.5 hours). Then follow the descent via the "Obermoos-Steig" for about 15 minutes to the junction of the access path (signpost "Klettersteig") to the "Predigstuhl via ferrata".
Depending on the snow and weather conditions, the via ferrata is accessible from May to October.
At the roundabout in Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee, take the exit for "Lasern" and continue in the direction of Berggasthof Predigstuhl. After approx. 3.5 km, turn left to the Rathlucken Hütte, where you will also find the Parking Rathlucken Hütte.
