The Römerradweg (Roman Cycle Trail) winds through the landscape between the valleys of the rivers Vöckla, Ager and Traun. Now we are on the Römerradweg cycling from town to town. We start this stage at Vöcklabrucker and after 42 km we reach Wels.
We leave Vöcklabruck and stay along the railway tracks to reach Attnang-Puchheim. Then we continue on the Römerradweg to Schwanenstadt, where we follow the river Ager and arrive in Lambach after some 7 kilometers. The Benedictine Abbey of Lambach with its library and frescoes is worth a pause. Next we continue on the R6 along the banks of the river Ager, past the hydropower plant, to Wels.
