The hike leads from the Grünburger Hut on the forest road via the Brettmaisalm and the Pfaffenboden to the Mandlmais and then sharply up to the right and along the ridge to the two peaks.

Directions:
From the Grünburger Hütte, the hiking trail leads along the forest road (trail no. 483) via the Brettmaisalm and the Pfaffenboden to the Mandlmais.
Here, take a sharp right onto trail no. 14. Along the ridge with a magnificent view into the Dorngraben and the Steyr Valley, you reach the two peaks - Gaisberg and Dürres Eck.
Descent is via trail no. 14 directly into the Dorngraben possible (caution - steep descent).
