From Trattenbach train station, the path leads steeply uphill through the Feitelmacher valley toward the Klausriegler alpine inn and from there over the meadow and through forests onto the ridge to the Schoberstein and the Schobersteinhaus (1,285 m).
Variants: By car to the parking lot at the Klausriegler inn
Hiking trail 481
Directions:From Trattenbach train station, the path leads through the Feitelmacher valley past the stations of the museum village of the same name. Before the church, the path branches off to the left from the road and rejoins the road above. After a short section on the road, it goes somewhat steeper uphill toward the Klausriegler alpine inn (walking time to the inn approx. 1 hour). From here, the hiking trail initially leads over the meadow further uphill to the Schoberstein and the Schobersteinhaus (1,285 m)

Tip:Climate-friendly to the national park region - Trattenbach train station: By train, you reach the starting point for this hike in about 1 hour from Linz and about 2.5 hours from Vienna.Additional information:
Many paths lead to the Schobersteinhaus and they can be combined into extensive circular hikes with magnificent views.

From Graz: A9 Pyhrnautobahn > motorway exit Klaus > Grünburg > into the Ennstal valley
