How to get to the Traunsee-Almtal Round MTB Tour. Start at the guest centre of the Traunsee-Almtal tourist region in Gmunden at Toscanapark. We also recommend travelling to the Engelhof train station in Gmunden (Park & Ride).

By train: via Attnang-Puchheim station to Gmunden station, with the Traunsee tram (line 161) from Stern & Hafferl to the Gmunden Kuferzeile stop (approx. 300 metres to the guest centre) or straight on to the Gmunden Engelhof stop, also coming from Vorchdorf Eggenberg.
Numerous connections from Attnang-Puchheim station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn in the direction of Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee
by bus: OÖVV bus lines 507, 505 and city bus lines from Gmunden, bus stop Gmunden Toscanapark
by bike: The guest centre of the Traunsee-Almtal tourist region is also very easy to reach by bike and is located directly on the R 2 Salzkammergut cycle path. Cyclists coming from Laakirchen via the Traunvierteltour and the R4 Traunradweg can reach the guest centre from the Traunbrücke bridge via the Rathausplatz square and the Esplanade (approx. 1 km), or follow the MTB tour in the direction of Grünberg directly over the Traunbrücke bridge and along the boat landing stage.
