Bienenlehrpfad Bi-Wa-Na, Biene-Wald-Natur

The Bi-Wa-Na (Bee-Wood-Nature) educational bee trail in Freinberg is around 3.2 kilometres long.

The ten stations on the circular trail, five of which are on the grounds of the forester's lodge, allow hikers and walkers to immerse themselves in the life of bees. More than 20 educational panels explain the world of these fascinating insects. A highlight of the excursion into the world of bees is the honeycomb cell building. Here, a beehive has been equipped with cameras, a microphone and several measuring devices. This provides a marvellous insight into the inner life of a bee colony.

The honeycomb cell building can only be visited on a guided tour; the rest of the nature trail is freely accessible.
The "Alte Forsthaus Freinberg" is located on the same site. This can also be visited at the same time as a guided tour.
