The walking path in the center of Gaflenz was designed by the kindergarten children. At the beginning of the walk, hikers are greeted by Dr. Zirbel, the forest animal doctor, who guards a wooden box with the stories of the dwarves next to him. Every visitor is welcome to borrow it and return it to its place. The same path can be chosen for the way back, or a walk through the center of Gaflenz.Directions:
A special feature is the Sonnberg Dwarf Forest, which was created by the kindergarten children. Climate-friendly to the National Park Region - railway station Gaflenz: By train you can reach the starting point for this hike in about 2 hours from Linz and in about 2.5 hours from Vienna.
