Description:

From the town center of Gaflenz, the route goes via Gasthof Stubauer, the Hubertus Chapel, Bärenreith, Bergerbauer, and over the Breitenauer Spitz to the Gaflenzer Kaibling.

The path leads from the town center towards Gasthof Stubauer, past the Hubertus Chapel, Bärenreith, Bergerbauer, over the Breitenauer Spitz to the Gaflenzer Kaibling (highest point of Gaflenz).

Further unmarked circular route via the Holzer Kogel and the Breitenau back to the town center of Gaflenz.


Alternatively, via the Hintere Mühlein to the Heiligenstein.

Climate-friendly travel to the National Park region - Gaflenz train station: By train, you can reach the starting point of this hike in about 2 hours from Linz and about 2.5 hours from Vienna.
