From the station, the long-distance route 404 leads up to Brandkogel and Herndleck. Over the Rehböden and Teufelskirche, it continues to the junction where hiking route no. 13 branches right to Kruckenbrettl (1,020 m), left goes over Gscheid and Sulzboden to the Grünburger Hut (1,080 m).Tip:
Climate-friendly to the National Park region - Ternberg station: By train, you are at the starting point for this hike in about 1 hour from Linz and in about 2.5 hours from Vienna.Additional information:
Variant: The route can be shortened by about 1.5 hours if you start from the Herndleck car park.
