Properties:
- Loop
Along the edge of the forest, slightly uphill in the forest to the Spadenberg (1,000 m), then somewhat steeper downhill to the Spadenberg Chapel (resting place) and around the mountain on the forest road (also MTB route) on the right to the starting point.
Trail number: E54
Directions:
The trail first leads across a meadow and along the edge of the forest and then in the forest, always slightly ascending to the Spadenberg (1,000 m).
From here, the trail descends somewhat steeper to the Spadenberg Chapel (rest stop). From here, follow the forest road (also MTB route) to the right until you reach a junction, where you turn right again. Follow this road until the path branches off from the forest road on the left.
This path leads through the forest and then back across a meadow. The last stretch is on the road past the alpine farmer back to the starting point. The last stretch can also be shortened through the forest up to the initial hiking trail.
Variants: If you follow the hiking trail in the direction of Maria Neustift/Glasenberg at the Spaden Chapel, you can enjoy a beautiful meadow and forest trail on the one hand and continue hiking around or over the Glasenberg (great panoramic view) on the other (E33, E33a, or E33b).
Tip:
No gastronomy along the way, so bring drinks and a snack if needed.
