Accompany us along the 4 marvellous lakes in the Salzkammergut - Traunsee, Wolfgangsee, Mondsee & Attersee.

The circular tour leads from Lake Traunsee via Pinsdorf, the Aurachtal valley and the Großalmhöhe (840 metres) to Lake Attersee. From Steinbach, the route continues to Lake Mondsee and over the Scharfling (604 metres) to Lake Wolfgangsee. Via Bad Ischl and the Trauntal valley, the route leads back to the starting point in Gmunden.

Of the many lake tours in the Salzkammergut, this is one of the more challenging thanks to two mountain passes. It is also brilliant because swimming trunks (strapped to the handlebars) are compulsory equipment. After all, Attersee, Mondsee, Wolfgangsee and Traunsee also want to be utilised.
