The Little Bear family via ferrata is the perfect beginner's via ferrata for children and beginners and offers a special mountain experience for the whole family as well as a bit of adrenaline.
The climbing route with difficulty level A can be climbed by children and beginners from a height of 1.35 m and offers via ferrata newcomers a great climbing experience along wire ropes, stepping sticks and suspension bridges.
The only hurdle is that the children have to reach the rope at the measuring station (Little Bear) in a 1.35 m cave.
The entrance to the via ferrata is right next to the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car mountain station.

in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 via Bad Aussee to Obertraun
in Obertraun turn left in direction Dachstein Krippenstein cable car

A10 Tauernautobahn to exit "Eben im Pongau", from there via Annaberg, Gosau and Hallstatt to Obertraun
before you enter Obertraun turn right in direction Dachstein Krippenstein cable car

get off at the bus stop "Obertraun Dachsteinseilbahn"
by train:
from Linz/Salzburg to Attnang-Puchheim, change to train to Stainach-Irdning or from Stainach-Irdning train direction Attnang-Puchheim
get off at train station "Obertraun-Dachsteinhöhlen", from there 45 min walk or take the bus
