The city of Salzburg is unique in every way. The interaction of nature and architecture, art and culture, tradition and modernity in such a small space creates the special charm of this world-famous city of Mozart. The “Salzkammergut Cycle Path” leads from St. Gilgen over the Scharfling in the direction of Sankt Lorenz. From Sankt Lorenz, continue to the villages Thalgau and Eugendorf. From here, the route follows the former railway line to the River Salzach. Continue along the river to the city center of Salzburg. Return via the Gaisberg Mountain to the village of Hof. Follow the “Salzkammergut Cycle Path” through Fuschl and back to the starting point in St. Gilgen.
