Trail number: 492, 492a, 491, E44, E48, 488, 490

Directions:
Day 1: Großraming - Enns Hütte

From the railway station in Großraming you walk through the district of Oberplaißa past the Bamachergut up to the Ennser Hütte.

Tip as a conclusion to the first day or as a start to the second day: The Almkogel with wonderful views of the Kalkalpen National Park, Totes Gebirge, Gesäuseberge or Rottenmannertauern is a reward for the approx. ½ hour ascent.

Day 2: Ennser Hütte via Danzersteig on Gamsstein to Gschwendtalm

From the Ennser Hütte, walk down the path at the cable car and ascend via the Danzersteig to the summit of the Gamsstein. After a panoramic view and a view as far as the Bohemian Forest, descend to the Gschwendtalm to taste the homemade alpine delicacies such as bread, pot cheese balls or Buchteln and sweet pot cheese dumplings in the evening, overnight stay.

Day 3: Gschwendtalm - Anlaufalm

From the Gschwendtalm you descend into the Brunnbachtal. You can end the tour here, or gain height again up to the "Kreuzweg" and reach the Anlaufalm along the ridge with wonderful views of the gorges of the Kalkalpen National Park, overnight stay.

Day 4: Anlaufalm - Brunnbach

After a leisurely breakfast, you can hike back from the Anlaufalm via the Hochkogel or along hiking trail no. 488 to the Ortbauernalm (walking time to Brunnbach approx. 2.5 hours).

Only for experienced walkers who want to experience the gorges of the Hintergebirge, we also recommend the variant via the Hochschlacht to the Große Bach and via the Triftsteig through the Große Schlucht (approx. 5 hours).

You can choose: Just more downhill along the Große Bach to Reichraming to the Anzenbach barrier. Back to the Brunnbach, you have to climb again via the Annersteig.
