Steyrerhütte snowshoe tour

From the idyllic Brunnental valley to the foot of the Kasberg with panoramic views of the Tote Gebirge

From the car park, follow path 433 uphill through the forest. Ignore the junctions for the time being. In the so-called "Katzengraben", the road turns into a pleasant hiking trail that leads steadily uphill. Back on the forest road, a signpost points to the Steyrerhütte hut.
Enjoy the view of the Tote Gebirge mountains from the sun terrace or warm up in the cosy restaurant with regional home cooking.
Follow the ascent trail downhill. The time indicated refers to the entire route.
