Description:
Discovering along the way:
3 parish churches: Weyer (consecrated to St. John), Großraming (consecrated to St. James) and Losenstein (consecrated to St. Blasius) as well as several chapels, Schmidbergerwehr on the Gaflenzbach in Weyer, Katzensteinermühle in Weyer, open-air swimming pool in Großraming, castle ruins in Losenstein.

Directions:
In the right-hand bend after the historic market square in Weyer, the trail leads left uphill to the parish church and via the Kirchenwegerl to the Winkelmayr inn. At the Steineck inn, cross the road and the Gaflenzbach stream and walk along the promenade past the Katzensteinermühle mill to the Enns.

Follow the Ennsradweg R7 along the Enns towards Großraming, past the railway station to the Ennsbrücke bridge. We cross the bridge, keep to the right and change sides of the road at the pedestrian crossing. From here we walk along the pavement up to the centre of Großraming.


From the church square in Großraming, the trail leads a short distance west down to the round bridge and continues along the Menweg E65 to the Gschoad (Gscheid 782 m) below the Schieferstein. Athletic, experienced hikers can make a detour to the Steinernen Jäger (1,185 m) at the Gschoad. Via hiking trail E72a you return to the Sebaldusweg. From the Gschoad, the trail leads via hiking trail E72 b into the Stiedelsbach, past the Nagelschmiede to the Petermühle inn and on to Losenstein.

As there are few opportunities to stop for refreshments directly along the trail, it is advisable to take enough snacks and drinks with you.
