The hiking trail begins at the village square and immediately turns north at the Stubauer department store. At first, it gently descends along the Pre-Alpine path 404 to the Höllgraben, where you cross the stream on a footbridge. You continue on the farm road to the Hauzlehen farmhouse, then always uphill on the hiking trail. After the Vorderglasen farmhouse, you turn right and shortly afterward on the ridge left to the benchTip:
From the Glasner hut, you hike in about 35 minutes to the summit of Glasenberg.
At the rest bench by the summit cross, you can enjoy the summit view of Hallermauern, Sengsengebirge, and the area of the Kalkalpen National Park.

Arrival via the Enns Valley Railway runs between Linz and Weißenbach-St. Gallen. Stations are located in Ternberg, Trattenbach, Losenstein, Reichraming, Großraming, Küpfern, Kastenreith, Kleinreifling, and Weißenbach-St. Gallen.
