A very scenic day hike. Almost all year round, you can repeatedly gain insights into rural working life (field and meadow work) on this hiking route. The route passes the oldest still preserved farmhouse in the Mühlviertel (16th century) before returning to the starting point.Equipment:

Mühlviertel breakfast
A classic Mühlviertel breakfast is available on reservation at the Hoamatladen.
Various jams, butter, spreads, ham, different regional cheeses as well as seasonal vegetables and fruit are served with homemade pastries or bread.
Post snack
In the afternoon, a Mühlviertel snack is available to order in advance, between 16:00 and 19:00 or by appointment.
We serve homemade bread with various spreads, sausage, cheese, bacon, meat, all already prepared on the bread - just take it, bite into it and enjoy.
Regional drinks such as Mühlviertler beer, Pils and Granitbier from the Hofstetter brewery, cider, wine etc. are of course also available to accompany your snack.
