From the starting point in Natternbach via Dopl and Au near Ed, head westward into the forest-rich spring area of the Tresleinsbach. Continue - passing the notable chapel in Gaisbuchen - to the highest viewpoint at 650 m above sea level, the Turnstein. After a stop at the "Wirt in Pfeneberg," hike back to Natternbach via Kreuz and Püret

The "Wirt in Pfeneberg" is a family-run business in a wonderful location close to the forest. The cuisine is home-style and focuses on local delicacies. The inn has a cosy "Bergdiele" and a guest room.

By car: Motorway A8 to the Pichl exit near Wels. Then continue via Grieskirchen and Peuerbach
