Description:
This family-friendly hike - mainly with shady forest sections - starts in the centre of Kopfing past the treetop trail, the poachers' outbuilding in Grafendorf to the former Schanzgräben fortifications in Dornedt. From Dornedt it's just a few more minutes to Jungfrauenstein rock - a balanced rock which can be moved with little effort. Here some benches beckon to put in a first break. In direction of Berndorf, past the Schieblermühle and through the village of Grub, you'll get to a pilgrimage church which is also a popular venue for weddings. Along forest and meadow paths continue via Matzelsdorf to the Rupertus Rock - in which St. Rupertus left his footprints - back to Kopfing.Tip:
