Stage 1 leads from Mauthausen station to the Mauthausen concentration camp memorial along the prisoners’ path, stage 2 from the Mauthausen concentration camp memorial (death stairs) to the Gusen memorial, and stage 3 offers the audio route from the Gusen memorial to the concentration camp memorial "Bergkristall". 24 stations and the audio route tell the Nazi history of the region.
