The gentle hills between Katzing and Edramsberg invite you to hike and also to pause, because at every corner you can enjoy interesting views: on the one hand into the Mühlviertel, on the other hand over the Alpine foothills up to the Alps with Traunstein and Dachstein.
Starting from the sports field, farming families show on information boards along the hiking trail, which runs across fields and meadows, what work they do on their agricultural farms, which crops they grow, which animals they keep, and which food products are made from them.
The landscape is also an important habitat for a diverse animal and plant world.
At the stations (tree horoscope, movement garden, wedding garden, miscanthus grass, from grain to bread, herb fairy, hunting association, energy orchard, water garden, horse management, beekeeping, rape seed, organic, potatoes) visitors can also actively participate.
Tip:Worth the few steps is a detour to the natural monument 1000-year-old lime tree, where you have a wonderful panoramic view from the Eferding area over the Welser Heide to the Alpine range and further to the Majadini alpacas with the possibility for groups to take a walk with them by prior arrangement, feed them, and pet them.
Organic farm shop at the 14th station and an extension of the round to the private brewery Florianibräu (open every 1st Saturday of the month, tours available on request), to the pilgrimage church "Maria vom guten Rat", to the village playground, to the inn Fischer, village café, and Födroas Dörnbach round.
