Description:

From the guesthouse Schoiber at Damberg, the route passes the Laurenz Chapel into the Dambach valley, continues over Oberdambach to Laussa, and then via the Fatima Chapel and Ramlerhöhe to Losenstein.

Hiking trails 467 or 406 are feeder routes for this day hike from Damberg to Losenstein.


From the guesthouse Schoiber at Damberg, hiking trail 11 starts to the Laurenz Chapel, over the Damberg meadow and Heiden into the Dambach valley. From there it goes up to Oberdambach, past Camp Sibley and below Sonnberg through the Fuchstaler ravine down to the town center of Laussa.


You leave Laussa heading southeast, walk past Kogl Castle, up the Schindl valley to the Fatima Chapel. Over the Ramlerhöhe and Kirchenberg, the route then descends to Losenstein.

Tip:
This day hike, combined with feeder routes 467 or 406 from Steyr and the return trip by the Ennstal railway, is a recommendation for guests from Steyr who prefer to travel by public transport.
