The hike starts along a forest path on the slope of the Freinberg, continues to the Beilstein, and then descends again to the Old Parsonage in the village center of Ternberg.
Hiking trail: E80
Directions:At the former Gasthaus Kopf, a well-developed forest path runs along the slope of the Freinberg, crosses the Thalergrabenstraße, climbs to the Beilstein, and then gently descends to the Old Parsonage.
The path is comfortably walkable, includes a Way of the Cross, many benches invite you to rest, and it offers a beautiful view of the village.
Tip:Climate-friendly to the national park region - Ternberg train station: By train, you can reach the starting point for this hike in about 1 hour from Linz and about 2.5 hours from Vienna.Additional information:
