The sculpture circuit leads from the Kreuzberg parking lot along the promenade downstream, via the Innerberger Stadel and the market square to the schools on the Ebene Felder further and along the Gaflenz upstream to the natural stone park in the outdoor pool.Directions:
Starting from the fountain at the Kreuzberg parking lot, we follow the Gaflenz Bach along the promenade downstream to the right. Shortly after the Schmidbergerwehr adventure playground, we cross a small bridge and walk along the sidewalk in the direction of the Weyer marketplace to the metal curves at the Innerberger Stadel.
The path continues in the direction of the town center until we reach the town hall, where we immediately cross the front of the houses. On a branch path we go up to the plains fields. Passing the kindergarten, to the elementary school the next sculpture awaits us - the willow ship. The next stops on our way are the highschool and the middleschool. Then we leave the plains fields and take the shortcut to the train station. Upstream on the left side we continue to the open-air swimming pool with the stone park. On a bridge we change to the other side of the Gaflenz and along the promenade back to the starting point.
Tip:Climate-friendly to the National Park Region - railway station Weyer: By train you can reach the starting point for this hike in about 2 hours from Linz and in about 2.5 hours from Vienna.Additional information:
