Motorradtour "Attersee - Mondsee"

ATTERSEE - MONDSEE
As a leisurely "beginners' tour", this tour, which is only around 150 kilometres long, can easily be completed in half a day and can be seen as a "trial run" for other tours.

We leave the KTM Motohall in the direction of Braunau, but shortly after the Mattighofen town square we take the turn-off onto the L503 and speed over the Schnellberg to Maria Schmolln. From here we continue to Sankt Johann am Walde and the first foothills of the Kobernaußerwald. At Frauschereck we are already fully immersed in it and enjoy the fun of riding on the winding route, which takes us quickly and swiftly to Kobernaußen and on to Waldzell. Here we orientate ourselves towards the south and continue to enjoy the ride to Vöcklamarkt. From there we ride past Sankt Georgen to Attersee, where we take a cosy break on the shore of the lake of the same name.
We cruise further south along the shore, but in Nußdorf am Attersee we take a detour to the heights above the lake and enjoy both the visual and, above all, the riding delights that await us via Limberg, Jägermoos, Streit and Reiserbauer. Back at the lake, we follow the lakeside road to Unterach and take Mondsee as our next destination. Here, too, the northern shore road offers us both fun and beautiful views over the lake. We can enjoy these once again in detail on the lakeside promenade in Mondsee, before the route takes us along small, winding paths via Harpoint towards Frankenmarkt.
Now Pöndorf, Höcken, Schneegattern and Friedburg are on our route before we arrive back at the KTM Motohall. The "garage" in the immediate neighbourhood is now the perfect place to enjoy a cosy coffee and think about the next tours!
