Cycle tour: Around the Göblberg

To the north-west, route 255 leaves the pretty village of Neukirchen and leads via Spöck (refreshment stop, e-charging station) to Klanigen, where there is a beautiful view over nearby Frankenburg. Our destination, however, is the ascent directly to the ridge of the Hausruck, always with the Göblberg and its lookout point in view. A marked detour to the summit is possible from several places.

At the Jägertafel directly at the highest point of the loop, the route changes to the 251, now downhill to the equestrian village of Ampflwang. Leave the mining village on route 254 southwards, a footpath and cycle path leads along the main road to Puchkirchen am Trattberg. From there, either continue briefly to the Power Tower (viewing and climbing tower) or follow the 256 to the starting point in Neukirchen an der Vöckla.
After the tour, the Stehrerhof open-air museum offers insights into rural culture, and you might even be lucky enough to get your hands on some fresh farmer's doughnuts (every Wednesday at noon from April to October).
