G4 Unterweitersdorf-Runde

Cycle route G4 from Almesberg (municipality of Alberndorf) via Gallneukirchen, Schweinbach, Engerwitzdorf and Unterweitersdorf

The route starts from the centre of Unterweitersdorf with a long, steep climb through the village of Reitern. After reaching the highest point in Lindach, the route is mostly downhill through Almesberg and over the Punzenberg to Gallneukirchen. A gravel path leads past a playground to Schweinbach, where the trail crosses the motorway for the first time shortly afterwards. The path then runs parallel to the motorway for a while and crosses it a total of four times (three times underneath, once above) before returning to the starting point.
