Ambitious bikers have the opportunity to leave the Hagenberg route in Friensdorf and head south. The mountain bike route is a connection from Hagenberg via Wartberg ob der Aist to Pregarten.

The route first climbs steeply uphill through a wooded area, crosses the Summerau railway on a narrow bridge and continues across meadows up to Wartberg. With the church tower always in view, you reach the highest point of the route. Cycle slightly downhill through residential areas and turn right towards the sports field. Continue cycling through housing estates and reach the village of Untergaisbach. Here you cross the railway line again and follow a gravel path to Frensdorf. After a short stretch on the B123 heading north, you turn onto a goods road down into the beautiful Aisttal valley. After

a small climb, you reach the Pregarten loop in the district of Aist.
