S201 Höllgraben Trail

The S201 Höllgraben Trail is part of the S238 Kriemoosalm Runde and is a natural shared trail at the foot of the Predigstuhl in Bad Goisern.

Short S1 single trail located below the Predigstuhl reading hotel and ending at Predigstuhl Panorama street. In combination with the S238 Kriemoosalm Runde a rewarding change to the forest roads in the Salzkammergut. After longer periods of rain the trail can be very wet and small streams sometimes form across the path.
Approved by the Austrian Federal Forests with the Inner Salzkammergut Tourist Association. Maintained and reshaped by ASKÖ Dirtbike section - many thanks for that.

The trail is shared by bikers and hikers, as conscientious bikers we take care of others and thus avoid conflicts with other users of nature to ensure future approvals.
The path is equipped with single trail signage and the line is visible.

Safety guidelines:Ride with visibility and adapt to your riding skills and ability. If in doubt, walk the bike.
Equipment:Helmet use is mandatory, protectors are also recommended. Suitable for mountain bikes. Ride at your own risk.
Getting there
Where would you like to reach us from? The region is about 3 hours from Vienna. Via the A1 motorway, the four towns are easily accessible via the Regau exit. Then the federal road B145 takes you to us. From Salzburg, you drive about 1 hour via federal road B158 to the region! From Villach, you drive about 2 hours via the A10 and B166. From Graz also about 2 hours via the A9 and B145.
Public Transit
Tour start in Bad Goisern at the Jodschwefelbad train station or from Bad Goisern train station and the Bad Goisern town hall.

Park & Ride (free parking for bikers even without a train ticket <3 ÖBB) Jodschwefelbad train station - tour entry via uphill/single trail.
