Pferdeeisenbahnweg - Freistadt city center connection

The destination of the connection from the horse-drawn railway trail is the historic town center of Freistadt. The preserved town walls with the town moat, together with the towers, invite you into the restaurants and stores. The trail leads through the village of St. Peter with magnificent views of the town and the region. The variant is 9.7 kilometers long and has an ascent of 220 meters.

The connection runs along existing hiking trails:
FR 6 (Drei-Bauernrunde), FR 4 (Hammerleitenrunde) and FR 9 (Gotikweg).
