Tour-Details
Way of Mindfulness - Stage 3:
Start: Klaus Castle - Klaus an der Pyhrnbahn
Finish: Spes Schlierbach
Almtal - Brunnental - Steyrtal - Kremstal
Crossing the banks of the Steyr, you immerse yourself in the fairytale-like forest that leads to the pilgrimage site of Frauenstein. The light shimmering through the leaves in the morning is magical. The church appears on a hill, harbouring a cultural treasure in the form of a protective Madonna on the high altar. Once you leave the heavenly view in Frauenstein, head to Göritz near Molln to discover the power of water at the Steyrdurchbruch Art Nouveau power station. The green meadows and forests of the Krems Valley begin opposite the emerald-green Steyr. At St Mary's Chapel, the Prelate's Trail leads to Altpernstein Castle. Gentle hills accompany you to Grillenparz and its summit larch. Simply lie down on the grass and enjoy the distant view! One more downhill stretch until the towers of Schlierbach Abbey are within reach and we find a good rest at the SPES Hotel.
Further information will soon be available on the website and in the accompanying booklet for the path of mindfulness!
