Feeling life
On this section, civilisation accompanies you noticeably more intensely: first you pass through the abbey town of Schlierbach. Where farm tracks lead between fields, the path below the motorway briefly reminds you of the hectic flow of time. When you take the Hubertusweg in Inzersdorf, the route climbs back up into the countryside. Looking back in front of the Hubertus Chapel, you will be amazed at how far your own feet have carried you. The Magdalenaberg parish church is the next highlight. Poppies between the fields accompany you to Heiligenleiten church in early summer. Back at the alpine pasture, after a loop over the Bäckerberg, you reach a mysterious place surrounded by Tibetan prayer flags: The Gomde, the international Buddhist centre, is located in a square courtyard and is the perfect place to take a break and sleep.

How to get to the Path of Mindfulness in Schlierbach:

We recommend that you travel by public transport!

By train: from Linz or Selzthal station (coming from Graz) with the Pyhrnbahn (line 140) or S4 to Schlierbach. In Schlierbach "only" the regional, S and REX trains stop, no IC trains. Connection every hour.
Numerous connections from Linz station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or from Selzthal in the direction of Graz or Salzburg.
The SPES Hotel is only 1.5 kilometers (approx. 20-25 minutes) from the train station on foot.

By bus: OÖVV bus line 430 Kirchdorf an der Krems - Windischgarsten, bus stop Schlierbach/Kr. Ortsmitte. Only Monday to Friday.
The SPES Hotel is only approx. 550 meters (approx. 9-10 minutes) from the bus stop on foot.

By car:
Westautobahn A1: From Vienna or Salzburg to the Voralpenkreuz-A9 in the direction of Graz or coming from Graz on the A9 - exit Inzersdorf_Kirchdorf - traffic circle third exit onto the B138 in the direction of Kichdorf - turn off to Schlierbach - just before the center of Schlierbach turn right into the Panoramaweg to the SPES Hotel.
