The Enns is the stage of life and passing and it spans millennia up to our present times.
At nine stations, you will find informative theme boards; through QR codes you can discover additional images and videos with interviews from contemporary witnesses.
Directions:The Weyrer GEH:DENK:WEG invites you to an impressive hike along the Enns. The path leads from the historic Katzenstein Mill to the picturesque tavern in Kasten near the Gaflenz mouth. This theme route impressively combines nature, culture, and history. Numerous contemporary testimonies and information boards tell of moving moments, local events, and significant historical occurrences in this region.
Start and finish is the Katzenstein Mill in Weyer (Am Gaflenzbach 33, 3335 Weyer on the Enns)

Tip:A visit to the Katzenstein Mill is absolutely worthwhile (open from April 1 - October 31, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm).
Safety guidelines:Adjust your routes to the current weather reports and act according to the seasonal hazards in the terrain.

- Sturdy, winter-proof footwear (waterproof, grippy soles)

Arrival by train to Kastenreith station. Walking time to the Katzenstein Mill about 15 minutes.
Parking
Parking at the Katzenstein Mill (Am Gaflenzbach 33, 3335 Weyer) is limited.
