This long circular tour starts in Ulrichsberg and leads through the hilly Mühlviertel and the Bavarian Forest. Via Salnau, Klaffer am Hochficht and Schwarzenberg, the route climbs steadily uphill to the border with Bavaria. The route continues through Klafferstraß, Neureichenau and Altreichenau, past Frauenberg and up to the Dreisesselberg. The route then leads downhill via Haidmühle, Bischofsreut and Philippsreut through picturesque forest landscapes. You reach Jandelsbrunn via Annathal, Heldengut, Sonndorf, Hinterschmiding and Grainet. The final stage leads back through Klafferstraß and Breitenberg via the Kriegwald border crossing to Julbach.
