Our establishment is known for its friendly atmosphere, gorgeous view of the northern Kalkalpen, plenty of space for children to run around in, and cosy new holiday apartments. We are a traditional old farm.

We have dairy cows, young cattle and bulls. For our younger guests we have goats, hares and cats to stroke.

Long hikes on the Hausruck or cycling along more than 2,500 kilometres through the Hausruck forest gives you a chance to enjoy the gentle hills and peaceful valleys, and really let your spirits fly.

Floodplain forest landscapes rich in fauna as well as untouched protected areas, numerous cultural sites with friendly locals, surrounded by lush meadows and vast forests, are simply perfect for visiting one of the many farm houses offering typical homely fare in the Hausruck district.

You can also enjoy a real family holiday out riding, thanks to one of our many horse riding paradises. We have several slow trains in the area that are great for hobby train drivers and old-time railway enthusiasts.

But perhaps the biggest attraction is the Frankenburg Dice Game. In 1625 the farmers had to roll the dice for their lives - all because of their beliefs. We are the gateway to the Salzkammergut and are part of the biggest forest in Upper Austria.

Coming from the north, take the Innkreis motorway to Ried im Innkreis, then the Frankenburg state road to Frankenburg. Then go 2 km towards Ampflwang until you reach our farm. lt;br/ gt; lt;br/ gt;Arriving by train lt;br/ gt;Westbahn route from Salzburg in the direction of Vienna. If travelling by fast train or slow train, get off at Vöcklamarkt or Zipf. We offer a pick-up service.
