Our hut is located on the hiking trail to the Almkogel and is open all year round. At 1295 m you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Kalkalpen National Park from our sun terrace. Our local mountain is the Almkogel at 1513 m which offers a spectacular 360° panoramic view over the surrounding mountains.
Numerous hikes, beautiful summit destinations (Almkogel, Burgspitz, Hühnerkogel...), the Kalkalpenweg and also a mountain bike trail lead to our hut.
The south-facing orientation of our hut gives us our dreamlike sunsets which you can enjoy on the sun terrace in summer and winter. In the cosy guest room, heated with a tiled stove, everyone will find a place. We still cook in the traditional way with the wood-burning stove. We cook our hut delicacies on this stove, which you can enjoy here.
