The Neydharting mud bath was first mentioned in the 14th century. It is the oldest mud bath in the world that is still in operation. The well-known Paracelsus, a pioneer of modern medicine, also worked here as a doctor.

Accessibility / arrivalBy car: Coming from vienna/linz or salzburg via motorway A1/E55 Westautobahn exit 207, exit Vorchdorf, leave the roundabout in direction Lambach until you come to Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting ( about 7km) Coming from Wels on the main road B1 to Lambach, there, turn to the road B 144 in direction to Stadl-Paura, at the traffic lights turn left and drive to Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting. You find the Moorbad Neydharting outside of the town centre, via road L1312 By train: Next Intercity train station is Wels Hbf, there you have to go with the local train in direction to Attnang Puchheim and exit at the train station Lambach. There you have to change to the "Vorchdorfer Bahn" and get off at the train station Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting. By airplane: Blue Danube Airport Linz/Hörsching 50 KM W.A.
