Welcome to the Oberwengerhof in Spital am Pyhrn!

The Landhotel Oberwengerhof warmly welcomes you in the middle of a breathtaking mountain landscape! As a small, personal family business, we always strive for your all-round well-being. We have four fully equipped apartments with sauna facilities and a range of other spa options!

In summer the region offers a variety of hikes and excursion destinations in the Kalkalpen National Park and in winter you can hit the slopes at the Hinterstoder-Wurzeralm ski area!

For your children, our petting zoo on our organic farm and the wild animal enclosure will be the absolute highlight - during which you can recover from your last hike on our terrace.

If you prefer to enjoy the seclusion of nature, you can retreat to our own alpine hut.

Between mid-May and November 1st, you can enjoy the mountain railways, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, guided hikes, museums and much more when you stay with us. with the Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard for free as often as you want and it doesn't cost you anything.

On the A9 of the Pyhrnautobahn, take the Spital am Pyhrn exit. Turn left onto the B138 and drive through the town of Spial am Pyhrn. Exactly 700 meters after the end of the town, turn right towards Oberweng. Follow the road for 2.5 kilometers until you reach the sign “Landhotel Oberwengerhof, Stefansberg”. Turn right here and after 200 meters you will find the Oberwengerhof.

FAMILY TRADITION SINCE 1881: The Oberwengerhof, built in 1325, has been owned by the Immitzer family since 1881. The farm was initially just a farm and then opened its doors to guests in 1950. This means that this house can look back on a long history and a lot of experience in gastronomy and hotels - you can only benefit from this treasure. As a small family business, we can combine our love of nature, our feeling for cuisine and Upper Austrian hospitality and give you a wonderful holiday with us in the mountains. While son Helmut pampers you with his cooking skills, mother Christine takes care of your carefree stay.
