The Schobersteinhaus is located 50 meters below the summit of Schoberstein between Steyrtal and Ennstal. With its unique panorama, it is the perfect destination for hikers and mountain bikers, snowshoe hikers, paragliders, and riders.

The new, modern dining room offers a stunning view over the Kalkalpen National Park to the Dead Mountains. The hut hosts provide regional home-style cooking, and special requests for parties and celebrations are gladly accommodated.

Accessibility / arrival

The Schoberstein House is only accessible on foot.

An ideal starting point is the former inn Klausriegler. To get there, coming from Steyr, turn right towards Grünburg just before Ternberg, but immediately after the bridge turn left again. Follow the road for 4.6 kilometers where you will turn left. After 300 meters, keep left, as well as after another 600 meters. After 600 meters, keep right and follow the road to Klausriegler.
