Old historic house with parts of an ancient town-wall. All rooms are newly restored with high quality materials. We are artists, run a ceramic studio in the basement and gave the apartment an artistic note: An intriguing combination of modern and historic furniture and fancy details.

Spacious 55 sqm cosy accomodation in a historic 800 years old house in nice neighborhood, with parts of the tower of the former town wall.

For those with love for details. Central heating or wood fired oven.

1 minute walk to the lake, 3 min walk to tramway.

Two seperate sleeping rooms and kitchen. Original farmhouse-parlour (from my great-grandfather) is built in in the living room. The apartment has wooden and cotto floors and is equipped with smoke detectors.

We run a ceramic studio in Gmunden in the basement of the house you will stay in, so dont´t be surprised to find our and our friends´ ceramic artpieces scattered in the house. In addition Martin is the creator of "Memory of Mankind", the project where stories of our time are stored for a million years. Gmunden is a small town with its main square on a beautiful lake. We are renewing the house we live in, first time mentioned in 14th century, being a prison (!) then. You can find our ceramic work, look for K&K Keramik in Gmunden.
