​ ​Over the rooftops of the tiny, picturesque town of St. Wolfgang, our contemporary chalet is embedded in the landscape with an unimpeded and spectacular view of the lake and the mountains behind, which can be seen from each bedroom as well.
 
Exceptional privacy is guaranteed by the lack of immediate neigbours. „The View“ is in fact surrounded by fields on all sides. When stepping out onto the big terraces through floor to ceiling windows, peace and quiet embraces you. Needful ingredients for that perfect holiday feeling!

Summer activities
Hiking and walking trails start right behind the property.
Discover the idyllic seascape by taking a boat trip.
Take a ride from St. Wolfgang to the top of the 1,783 m high Schafberg. The cog train will carry you to the top of our mountain. There you can see 13 lakes all at the same time.
Wellness experience is offered in the Ried nearby as well as in Bad Ischl, the next town.
Jump into our lake and have a swim  - also very recommendable!
 
Winter activities
The nearby Postalm is the skiing and cross country skiing area to go to. Fun for kids too!
Our advent market is quite famous for getting visitors into the holiday spirit.
The thermal spring in Bad Ischl offers wellness, also during the winter months.
 
 
Location/ driving minutes by car
45 minutes to Salzburg, Mozart`s birthplace and also the famous „Sound of Music“ city.
35 minutes to Hallstatt, which might be of interest to our chinese guests.
15 minutes to Bad Ischl. The last Austrian emperor Franz Josef and his beautiful empress Sissy spent most of their summer months there.
