Summer holiday in the Ernst-Seidel-Talherberge

Our accommodation can be booked by room or the whole house. We offer 2 two-bed rooms, one four-bed room and one five-bed room. Please bring a sleeping bag or bed linen, towels, tea towels and toilet paper.

The Ernst - Seidel - Tahlherberge in Gosau is the perfect starting point for many summer activities. Hiking and cycling tours, swimming in the Lake Gosau and must-see destinations.

There is also a lot to discover in the surrounding towns in the Salzkammergut. The Salt Worlds in Hallstatt, the ice cave and mammoth cave on the Krippenstein are very popular excursion destinations.

From 1.10. to 30.04. heating surcharge € 1.00 per person and night (for stays of more than one day the day of arrival is decisive for the charging of the heating surcharge)

When booking the whole house, a minimum of 10 beds will be charged for the period of stay, even if the actual number of guests is less. For 10 or more guests, the actual number will be charged.

cancellation terms and conditions

In case of cancellation up to 30 days before the date, a handling fee of € 25 will be charged or retained from the deposit. In the event of a later cancellation, the entire deposit will be retained.
In case of early departure or no-show - for whatever reason: illness, weather etc. - no refund of the invoice amount will be made. - no refund of the invoice amount will be made.

Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau.
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 5 km you will reach the accommodation on the right-hand side after the bridge.

from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 5 km you will reach the accommodation on the right-hand side after the bridge.

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau

change to the bus direction Gosausee, get off at the stop "Hintertal b. Gosau Ort". Gosau Ort" bus stop. After about 5 minutes on foot, you will reach the accommodation after the bridge on the left in Austraße on the right-hand side.
