The building, located directly near the Hausruckwald, features special Vedic architecture and is supplied with thermal water from the Dreikönigsquelle in Haag am Hausruck. Guests are offered therapeutic treatments under medical supervision. The diagnostic and therapeutic methods at somamed aim to support the body's self-healing powers, facilitate profound regeneration, and improve vitality. The backdrop of the gentle, expansive hilly landscape of the Hausruckviertel invites walking, hiking, and cycling.
A special focus is placed on detox and purification. Detox and cleansing treatments are offered on-site, individually tailored to meet the needs of each guest.

As far as possible, the building materials used were sourced regionally. The room furnishings come from the company Team7, which manufactures solid wood furniture from local woods in Upper Austria. The beds are metal-free - for a particularly restful sleep. In addition to the use of ecological materials, the entire house and all rooms are built according to the principles of Vedic architecture (Vastu - Maharishi Stapatyaveda). This creates a high energetic value of the living experience.
