In the wonderful Mühlviertel, where the hills meet the Danube plain, lies our organic farm. On the hill of Schwertberg, in the "Meran of the Mühlviertel", this typical Mühlviertel four-sided farm was built in 1835 by the then owners Anna & Martin Mascherbauer. Since 2005 we - the Holzweber family - have been managing the Mascherbauerhof in Winden.

On our organic farm we also welcome camping guests.

Our farm is located directly on the Danube Heights hiking trail and the Danube cycling route R1-12. Nearby, you will find the ruins of Windegg Castle, an idyllic natural bathing facility on the Aist, and the opportunity for romantic boat trips on the Aist.
