Nature gives us everything we need to live. It is the foundation of our life. Would you like to discover nature, immerse yourself in the world of colourful blossoms, fragrant herb fields, get to know the forests of the Hausruckwald and take in the mountain panorama?

A warm welcome to our farm Mathiasnhof! We, Thomas and Magdalena together with our three children Jonathan, Florentina and Rosalie, live and work here in our small organic herbal paradise nestled in the rolling countryside .

Organic farming is the foundation of our daily work. A colourful diversity is characteristic of our farm.

We have furnished our apartments using natural materials. We have deliberately chosen wooden floors and wood furnishings to meet the original human needs. Peace and relaxation far from the stresses and strains of everyday life, surrounded by cosy, modern and traditional furnishings - a home base to enjoy, rejoice and take a deep breath. Each room has been furnished with lots of loving details to provide our guests with a place to relax and unwind.

Why do our organic apartments have such special names? You will find out at the latest when you visit our farm shop or join a tasting of our products. You’ll float on cloud 9 in a four-poster bed and have purple flower dreams and feelings of joy in our apartment “Happy Hours”. Escape the realm of reality and let mind wander - this is what our double room “Great Emotions” invites you to do.

Take a deep breath and spoil yourself in our herbal spa area. Lots of little surprises await you there. As a trained botanical guide specialised in edible herbs and occupational therapist Magdalena will be happy to give you tips on how to spend your holiday with the ingredients of nature.

We are happy to give you an insight into the life and work on our farm. Harvesting and processing herbs is part of our daily programme. We make muesli, bread and various specialties with the ancient grain that we grow. In our organic farm shop, centrepiece of our new building, you will find all the products with the ingredients from our meadows and fields. In the morning, we will spoil you with our organic breakfast basket - the “Beautiful Day Farmer’s Basket” which contains a colourful variety of the delicacies produced on our farm. Naturally and individually created for you!
